The TH-1230 is a single-plane 2D LiDAR sensor from Galaxy Electronic's 1 Series, built for vehicle dimension and vehicle type detection on roads and at entry points. It emits at 144 kHz over a 270° field of view, scans at 25, 50 or 100 Hz and resolves targets at 0.0625°, 0.125° or 0.25°. Effective ranging reaches 30 m at 10% reflectivity and 80 m at 90%, with a systematic error of ±30 mm, so length, width and height are captured while vehicles keep moving. Class 1 eye-safe 905 nm optics, an IP67 housing, 80,000 lux sunlight immunity, RS232/RS485 and sync interfaces let it be fitted to existing gantry, toll-lane and tunnel controllers.
